We all need to communicate for many reasons: to get the information we need, to socialise, to speak on the phone, to give an opinion, and much more.

Sometimes your ability to communicate with others can be affected by health problems impacting your hearing, understanding, or speech.

Our speech pathologists can help you to:

  • understand instructions
  • follow what people are saying
  • hear conversations more clearly
  • find the right words to use when talking or writing
  • speak clearly and be understood better by others
  • deal with changes in your voice
  • read and write
  • overcome difficulties with swallowing.

We work as part of a team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, and dietitians, working together to help people keep living as independently as possible.
